The Fresh Start Weekend Bankruptcy Program is a special invitation offer for select postcard recipients. Because spots are limited, we have a few important policies you should be aware of before you sign up:
The $99 attorney consultation fee is non-refundable.
The $26 credit report fee is required at sign-up and will be refunded only if you do not qualify or decide not to proceed after your consultation.
This program is fully virtual; consultations and signing appointments are held by Zoom or telephone with an attorney from our office.
This program is designed only for clients who (1) qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and (2) can complete all document uploads and the online questionnaire without assistance. Clients unable to meet these requirements may apply for our full-service bankruptcy program at www.cantaffordalawyer.com.
All required documents and the online questionnaire must be completed within 7 days of the consultation. If you fail to meet this deadline, the firm will allow one 7-day extension for a $125 extension fee. Only one extension will be granted. If your uploads and questionnaire are not completed within 14 days total, your file will be closed and you will not be able to join the program in the future.
The $1,500 program balance is due in full after all uploads and the questionnaire are completed, when scheduling your signing appointment.
Reschedule signing appointment over 24 hours after you scheduled appointment will incur a $125 fee. If you choose not to proceed after paying your $1,500 balance but before filing, a $500 case preparation fee will be deducted from your refund.
